Chery Group July 2025 reported a strong performance with total sales of 224,439 units, marking a 14.7% year-on-year increase. Of these, 65,357 units were new energy vehicles (NEVs), representing a 44.1% YoY surge.
Exports rose 31.9% to 119,090 units, reinforcing Chery’s position as China’s No.1 automotive exporter.
Four-Pillar Strategy Strengthens Presence in Key Global Markets

- In Brazil, monthly sales now exceed 6,000 units.

January–July 2025 Performance and ‘Double 500’ Achievement
For January to July 2025, Chery recorded:
- 1,484,563 units sold (+14.5% YoY)
- 669,360 units exported
- 424,737 NEVs sold (+87.7% YoY, one of the fastest growth rates globally)
In July, Chery also achieved its ‘Double 500’ milestone, climbing the Fortune Global 500 to No. 233 (from No. 385 in 2024) and the Fortune China 500 to No. 59 (from No. 100 in 2024).
Chery has now become the first Chinese automotive brand to surpass 5 million cumulative global vehicle exports.
